So Mother's Day is always a challenge for me...See I lost my mother on Mother's Day. I had a ruff one this pass weekend.

Transition can be very difficult. My oldest is graduating from high school and will be attending Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. I never thought it would be this difficult when I got to this point. It hard for so many reason. I never thought as a teenager "I want to grow up and be a single parent" who does? Well here I am sending him off to college. Lord raising children is the hardest job!!! I'm going to celebrate anyhow. I wish that I had made different choices in the father department! I can't help feel that I have short changed my son. With God's help I have come a long way!!! Everything happens for a reason. So with that being said bring on the celebration!!!

  1. Sis,

You are a dynamic mom!!!! Truly...you are! I know its hard to cope with (especially coming from someone who still has my mom), but remember Romans 8:28 - all things work together for the GOOD of those who love the Lord. Look at how far you have come! We all wish we have made some better decisions in the Father department, shoot I got 2 knuckle heads to deal with :-) but look at the other side....your boys aren't running around being menaces, they aren't dropping out of school, and they don't have babies everywhere. You have done an EXCELLENT job as a "single" mom, but God has placed excellent male role models in their life to steer them in the right direction. So don't beat yourself up! They are outstanding young men and you should be proud...which I know you are!

Sidenote....even though its been a long road, look at who God has blessed you with....ME (j/k I was really talking about ur boo!) Great guy...even if he does frequent Ciao Bella in his sleep! LMAO!

    Love you :-)
